During my internship at Impact BBDO in the summer of 2023, I collaborated on a standout project with CEER, Saudi Arabia's first electric vehicle company. We reimagined their brand identity and completely redesigned their website using Figma and Adobe Photoshop.
Our goal was to create a digital experience that not only showcased CEER's electric vehicles but also conveyed their commitment to innovation and sustainability. Through meticulous design and strategic thinking, we crafted prototypes that merged user experience with brand storytelling.
During the prototyping phase, the homepage design went through multiple iterations, refining elements like colors, fonts, and layouts. I began with thorough research and, guided by CEER’s brand guidelines, developed initial drafts. Each stage was tested and adjusted to align with both the user experience and the brand’s storytelling. The prototype was done by myself and the Design Lead, Kusal Udhara.

The initial prototypes created in Figma relied heavily on the company’s primary colors. However, feedback from the project’s head of design highlighted that the bold color scheme was overpowering and not ideal for transitioning between light and dark modes on devices. This insight led to adjustments that improved usability while maintaining the brand’s essence.
Benchmarking
We began the benchmarking process collaboratively on a Miro Board, researching other EV companies and analyzing their digital presence.
Site Map
I took the lead in creating a detailed features table, researching and comparing various EV company websites to identify key elements and opportunities for improvement. Collaboratively, we then worked on a site map using the Miro Board, ensuring the structure aligned with both user needs and CEER’s goals.
Research and Analysis
I conducted a thorough review of other EV company websites, capturing screenshots and analyzing their layouts, user experience, and information flow. By taking detailed notes, I pinpointed what worked well in terms of usability and design, such as clear navigation, engaging visuals, and concise content.
